Randall L. Jones Theatre tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a cozy yet vibrant theatre experience in Cedar City? The Randall L. Jones Theatre is one of those spots that just feels like home, especially if you love live performances. This place has been a cornerstone of the local arts scene since it opened its doors decades ago. In 2015, they upped their game with digital ticketing and interactive seat maps, which honestly makes snagging the perfect seat way easier, no more guesswork or standing in line forever. The theatre’s annual New Year's Eve Concert has become a true tradition since 1986, drawing both local talents and international stars, making it a must-see event each year. The building itself is pretty special, its historic charm earned it a state heritage award in 2007, and even from the upper balcony, you feel surprisingly close to the action, which is kinda rare for a venue of this size. The main floor’s slight curve isn’t just a fancy design choice; it helps the sound spread evenly so everyone gets to enjoy the show without dead spots. Accessibility isn’t an afterthought either, there’s wheelchair access through a side entrance and easy-to-read electronic displays outside that keep you in the loop about what's coming up. Whether you’re craving a romantic date with front-row seats to She Loves Me, feeling fancy with VIP sections for Something Rotten, or just taking the family out for something fun and affordable like See How They Run, this theatre really has you covered. Trust me, seeing a show here isn’t just about the performance, it’s about creating those moments you’ll remember for ages.
